Within this context, light plays not an accessory but a structural role. Esse-Ci luminaires shape the space and define the experience, interpreting the project’s rigorous geometries and amplifying the dialogue between material, architecture, and perception. Lighting becomes an element of continuity, designed to support focus, well-being, and creativity — all essential within an educational environment that trains the technicians of the future.

In the classrooms and laboratories, the installation of Arkeon 2.0 suspended bi-emission luminaires transforms the wooden ceiling structure into a true luminous landscape. The square lines and corners of light create a continuous pattern that shapes the space with rhythm and formal coherence. Some classrooms have instead been equipped with Arkeon 2.0 ceiling-mounted versions, a choice that allows for different ceiling heights while ensuring uniform light distribution even in more compact environments.

In the corridors, light becomes discreet, almost hidden. Here, the Eurostandard Track system, seamlessly integrated into the architecture, guides movement in combination with Ludo Linear 2.0 CLD, ensuring visual continuity and directing flows without interrupting architectural perception. In the circulation areas with staircases, Make Small luminaires have been installed, combining compactness and functionality.

The covered square — the relational heart of the complex — has been conceived as a flexible space, open both to everyday life and to events and gatherings. On the higher ceilings, Teres Medium and Small VT luminaires have been installed, while in the lower areas, Teres Exte Recessed Medium versions were chosen, offering a balance of power and beam control to ensure visual comfort in every condition.
For the exterior areas, Groove Display IP54 luminaires were selected — robust yet understated fittings that provide continuity and safety in the access and connection zones linking the complex with the urban fabric. In every space, light builds a coherent narrative. It not only supports study but defines a new architectural landscape, enhancing the project’s heights, openings, and proportions.
Mits Academy is no longer simply a school, but a complex organism in which architecture and lighting merge to create an experience of learning and community. The collaboration with Esse-Ci demonstrates how lighting technology can become a language — a silent yet essential tool for interpreting contemporary educational spaces.
